Another Oslo Haul! New Game of Thrones Eyeshadows

I know, I know; I have a serious Oslo obsession.  But guys, she just released a new Game of Thrones collection!  You know I had to get one it.  Plus, I needed to snag a few more samples of Ara and Lyra to press fully into pans.  I also needed to try her blushes after seeing some more reviews haha.

I ended up buying two Blogger Packs (4 full-sized shadows) and one Sample pack (5 samples).  I had actually made two separate orders but since it hadn't shipped yet, she combined them into one package for me :D

The colors I got were:  Doradus, Asterism, Tremor, A Song of Ice and Fire, Essos, Winter is Coming, Pegasus, and Milky Way.

Daylight - Top Row:  Doradus, Asterism, Tremor, A Song of Ice and Fire
Bottom Row:  Essos, Winter is Coming, Pegasus, Milky Way
Flash - Top Row:  Doradus, Asterism, Tremor, A Song of Ice and Fire
Bottom Row:  Essos, Winter is Coming, Pegasus, Milky Way

Here come the individual pictures of each (click to enlarge):

Daylight:  Doradus

Doradus:  plum-brown with gold shimmer

Daylight:  Asterism
Flash:  Asterism
Asterism:  chocolate brown with orange glitter

Daylight:  Tremor
Flash:  Tremor
Tremor:  purple with silver glitter.  This is part of their Sepulchrum Halloween Collection that's on sale right now; get it before it's gone!

Daylight:  A Song of Ice and Fire
Flash:  A Song of Ice and Fire
A Song of Ice and Fire:  plum with purple sparkles.  Part of the new Game of Thrones collection; this one is very beautiful.

Daylight:  Essos
Flash:  Essos
Essos:  emerald green with gold sheen.  Part of the Game of Thrones collection; I love this one.  It's absolutely gorgeous and goes on very creamy.

Daylight:  Winter is Coming
Flash:  Winter Is Coming
Winter Is Coming:  blue-violet with silver glitter.  Also part of the Game of Thrones collection.  This seems similar to Oslo's other color, Serpens.  I asked Joyce what the difference was and she said this was less glittery than Serpens, which is a good thing for people who had trouble applying Serpens because of the glitter.

Daylight:  Pegasus
Flash:  Pegasus
Pegasus:  sheer light blue with gold sheen.  I wasn't going to get this, but it's going to be discontinued.  I'm a sucker for getting discontinued products before they're gone forever so I picked this one up.  It was a lot sheer-er than I thought and took a few layers to show up on my skin.

Daylight:  Milky Way
Flash:  Milky Way
Milky Way:  creamy white with blue-green sheen.  This has got to be their best selling color since it went out of stock pretty soon as it came out.  This is supposed to be a limited edition shade but Joyce restocked it due to high demands.  I know it looks white in the pictures, but it actually has a gorgeous green sheen.  It's so amazingly beautiful and I really recommend this.

Daylight:  The Iron Throne
Flash:  The Iron Throne
The Iron Throne:  dark gunmetal gray with silver glitters.  I got a bonus Game of Thrones shadow as a sample!  I now own almost the whole collection haha.  This was a bit patchy to apply because of the glitter but would make a great smoky eye.

Daylight:  Altair
Flash:  Altair
Altair:  whitened shimmery gold.  I got this initially to use as a face highlight since it was gold and I have a yellow skintone.  Joyce actually recommended Pictor blush for me as a highlight instead which I also ordered haha.  Altair is so beautiful though, it's more white gold than pastel yellow as it appears in the bag.  It's really hard to explain; this is one of those colors that you really have to see.

Daylight:  Pictor
Flash:  Pictor
Pictor:  light pink blush with a LOT of gold shimmer.  I bought this because of a swatch I saw in a review.  I thought it looked similar to Nars' Orgasm blush which I'd been eyeing for awhile.  (If anyone actually has both, let me know how they compare.)  This blush is super pigmented; I just dipped my brush in the side of the baggie and got a ton of shimmer.

Daylight:  Sextens
Flash:  Sextens
Sextens:  matte dark rose blush.  I know some people describe this as a berry color, but it applies more pink than purple for me.  I've been looking for a nice medium matte blush for the fall and this might be it :)

Daylight:  Doradus, Asterism, Tremor, A Song of Ice and Fire, Essos, Winter is Coming
Flash:  Doradus, Asterism, Tremor, A Song of Ice and Fire, Essos, Winter is Coming
Daylight:  Pegasus, Milky Way, The Iron Throne, Altair, Pictor, Sextens
Flash:  Pegasus, Milky Way, The Iron Throne, Altair, Pictor, Sextens

Here's a look I did using my new goodies:

Daylight:  Milky Way on inner corner, A Song of Ice and Fire on lid, Essos on crease

Flash:  Milky Way on inner corner, A Song of Ice and Fire on lid, Essos on crease

Daylight:  EOTD + Pictor blush + Odetta lip slick

Flash:  EOTD + Pictor blush + Odetta lip slick

The blush isn't as apparent on the face because I sheered it out a good amount.  I didn't want a super shimmery face with my super shimmery eyes haha.  I also dabbed a little bit of Odetta lip slick on my lips instead of applying it more thickly as I normally would.

As much as I love Oslo, I'm going to have to scale back a bit before they completely bankrupt me!

  1. Completely understand having to scale back. I'm definitely more of a fan of her eyeshadows than lip slicks (reviewed those here: http://goo.gl/1KDxq6 ) and have 8 of her eyeshadows in my storeenvy cart right now that I know I shouldn't buy..

    1. I agree, her lip slicks are nice but I absolutely love her eyeshadows! Which 8 are you interested in? I can maybe give you insight on which colors are similar or worth it :) You should get 2 blogger packs; they're so worth it!

      Thanks for stopping by!
