Notoriously Morbid October 2017 Mystic Monthly - Matsdotter Swatches and Review

Welcome back, everyone!  I have swatches of Notoriously Morbid's October Mystic Monthly!  It was inspired by Matsdotter and featured a Mystic Matte liquid lipstick as well as a Sinister Sprite. Notoriously Morbid's current TAT is 15 - 20 business days, but the Mystic Monthly bills on the 20th of each month and ships two business days later.

Bare lips

Matsdotter:  opaque burnt pink orange; delicious sangria scent.  I really enjoy this lipstick as it's another form of red (which I love).  The sangria scent is also my favorite for lip products.

The Mean One

The Mean One:  sheer brown with red microshimmers; hazelnut scent.  I also really like this tinted balm!  It's gives me a natural look with an extra "oomph".  Like Matsdotter before it, I love the hazelnut scent as well.  It makes me hungry every time I use it.

If you couldn't already tell, I loved the October Mystic Monthly!  It's also crazy to think that the first year of Mystic Monthlies is almost over.  It feels like just yesterday when NM announced it and got everyone into a frenzy.  I can't wait to see November's Mystic soon!

Notoriously Morbid October 2017 Vanishing Cabinet - The Monster Mash Swatches

Hello, everyone!  I have swatches of Notoriously Morbid's October Vanishing Cabinet. It was another special VC because all the Mavens (promoters) helped create the products!  The VC was inspired by the old school Universal monsters.  The Mavens were organized into six groups and came up with the product and color ideas.  I was in the group that created the Changeling top coat :)  The overall VC included a mini eyeshadow, mini highlighter, mini contour powder, deluxe Mystic Matte, full sized Shimmer Sprite, and deluxe Changeling.  NM's current TAT is 15 - 20 business days, but the VC ships on a different schedule.

Dawn Eyes Cosmetics The Premiums 2017 Swatches and Review

Welcome back, everyone!  I'm extremely excited to show off swatches of Dawn Eyes Cosmetics' newest collection - The Premiums!  They're created with some insanely gorgeous multichrome pigments that are new to the market.  Because they are more expensive to purchase, the prices for these pigments were higher as well.  I usually purchase samples from Dawn Eyes, but decided to splurge on full sizes because I didn't want to run out so quickly.  Along with eyeshadows, DEC also released nail polishes and nail polish flakes to match.  I didn't purchase those, but they do look beautiful.  Due to the color traveling nature of the pigments, it was really hard for me to capture the insane shifts, but I tried!

Alluring: sparkly pink to green shift

Magical:  sparkly fuschia to green shift

Ravishing:  satin magenta to antique gold shift

Corvus Cosmetics Pressed Eyeshadow Palettes and Pressed Highlighter

Ohhh boy, this post has been delayed for long enough!  Corvus Cosmetics launched their pressed eyeshadows and highlighters earlier this year and my life has been so hectic that I haven't been able to post :(  Anyway, I was pretty excited when they announced this because I use their products almost every day and have pressed the samples that I purchased since pressed eyeshadows are easier for me to use.  During the initial release, I picked up the pressed highlighter and the 12 pan palette.  I later picked up the 5 pan palette which I have included in this post as well.

The current TAT is 5 - 30 business days.  The pressed eyeshadow pans retail for $8 each, 5 pan palettes are $38, and 12 pan palettes are $78.  The pressed palettes are customized, so you get to choose the shadows and input them yourselves.  The pressed highlighters are unfortunately discontinued due to packaging issues.

Disclosure:  I'm an affiliate of Corvus Cosmetics and the link provided above is an affiliate link.  You can also use my code 'JOLIE20' for 20% off your order (discount does not apply to palettes).

I'm not swatching anything in the order because everything I purchased had already been swatched in previous posts.  I was overall extremely impressed with the great packaging.  Although people had issues with the pressed highlighters breaking during transit, I was very lucky to have received mine intact.  The packaging seems durable and very professional.

Additionally, I absolutely love the palettes!  Not only do they come with gorgeous label art, but they have a magnetic closure and are hefty in weight.  Because of their beauty and ease of use, I've reached for my palettes daily.  I'm very tempted to pick up several more in the future.  Corvus also recently released five new loose highlighters and their site swatches look gorgeous.  I've already ordered them and will try to post them soon after they're received!
