Hello Waffle Visage July 2016 - Tamamo no Mae Swatches

Hey, everyone!  I'm excited to finally share swatches of Hello Waffle's July 2016 Visage box!  They are currently on hiatus right now but should return in October.  The Visages are still being shipped out and is the only thing offered during the hiatus.  July's box is inspired by the Japanese tale of Tamamo no Mae.  There were three full sized eyeshadows, one Overshadow, one blush, and an exclusive lipstick from Notoriously Morbid!  The label art is beautiful as well and I'm completely in love with it.

AFK Cosmetics Christmas in July 2016 Advent Calendar - Women of Studio Ghibli Swatches

I'm finally getting over my summer laziness and catching up on some overdue blog posts.  Today, I have swatches of AFK Cosmetics' Christmas in July 2015 Advent Calendar.  AFK Cosmetics usually releases two advent calendars per year. one in July and another in December.  This time around, the theme is Women of Studio Ghibli.  I'm a huge fan of Studio Ghibli, I actually like the creatures of Ghibli more than the actual human characters.  AFK's TAT is currently 7-20 business days, though the advent calendars operate on a different schedule.  The calendars come in two sizes, sample and full size.  I normally get the sample set because I never use up products, but this time I splurge on the full size because of the theme!

Satsuki
Satsuki:  pale yellow with red shimmers.  This was an exclusive shadow created by Shiro Cosmetics inspired by the older sister from My Neighbor Totoro.

Mei
Mei:  warm pink with silver sparkles.  This is the other exclusive shadow created by Shiro Cosmetics inspired by the younger sister from My Neighbor Totoro.

Lusheeta
Lusheeta:  amazing peach with strong green duochrome.  This was an exclusive shadow created by Innocent + Twisted Alchemy inspired by Sheeta from Laputa: Castle in the Sky.  This shadow is absolutely beautiful and the duochrome is so much stronger than what my swatch picture shows.  However, the jar was very messy; eyeshadow had leaked all over the insides and it took awhile for me to clean up.

Notoriously Morbid Vanishing Cabinet July 2016 - Spirit Guide Swatches and Review

I have swatches of Notoriously Morbid's July Vanishing Cabinet!  It's inspired by the original Ghostbusters movie and includes several different products.  NM's current TAT is 5-10 business days, though the Vanishing Cabinet ships out on its own schedule.  The Vanishing Cabinet is $13.25/month and includes several mini sized products from NM as well as a surprise guest indie product sometimes.

I've Been Slimed:  medium golden pink and lime green gloss, strawberry scented.  While it looks sheer in the pictures, the gold sheen actually comes out a lot more in person.

Toasted Destroyer
Toasted Destroyer:  oily lip salve; butter vanilla scent.  While this does moisturize my lips, I do prefer my Vaseline lip balm for nightly application.  My lips seem to prefer thicker and waxier lip treatments.

Innocent + Twisted Alchemy July 2016 Subscription Swatches

Eeek, I realize I'm a few days late, but I have swatches of Innocent + Twisted Alchemy's July subscription box today!  I+TA's current TAT is 14-18 business days, but the subscription doesn't operate on that schedule and instead ships out around the same time every month.  It's $18/month for three to four mini eyeshadows and a full sized guest indie product.

Now I had a bit of trouble getting my subscription because I had moved and PayPal didn't update my address even though I had manually done it.  My subscription was forwarded from my old address, which took a few days, and then delivered to the wrong place.  The owner, Linda, was so kind and generous to send out a replacement package and it arrived with no snafus!  The theme of the subscription was manga series, Ranma 1/2, which I've never read, but knew enough about the plot to understand some references.
