1UP Box TEAM vs Super Geek Box UNITE vs Loot Crate PRIMAL vs Loot Anime FUTURE March 2017

BOOYAH, I'm getting this post out before the month actually ends!  Bonus points for me because Super Geek Box actually arrived today.  Talk about last minute, eh?  I can't say I was really happy with the stuff I got this month, mainly because I'm not really into most of the themes :/  Hopefully next month is better for me!

Notoriously Morbid March 2017 Mystic Monthly - Mother Shipton Swatches

I'm very excited to show swatches of Notoriously Morbid's third Mystic Monthly!  The Mystic Monthly is a relatively new subscription service that caters to lip product lovers.  Each month includes one full sized Mystic Matte liquid lipstick as well as another lip product.  Notoriously Morbid's current TAT is 14 business days, but the Mystic Monthly bills on the 20th of each month and ships two business days later.

March's MM was inspired by Mother Shipton, a prophetess who practiced in her cave.  It features a gorgeous Mystic Matte liquid lipstick as well as a mini Slumber Salve.

Shipton

Shipton:  mauve with strong blue duochrome.  This lipstick is said to be similar to another lipstick of theirs, El.  If you enjoyed El, you would most likely enjoy Shipton.  The formula is slightly drying, transfer proof, and dries quickly upon application.

Petrifying Well
Petrifying Well:  Juicy Fruit scented lip balm.

I rather enjoyed this month's MM.  Although I normally don't wear cool lip colors, I found Shipton wearable on me and I thought it was very pretty. It was a borderline mauve nude on me and I liked that.  I've seen it on several other customers and found it to be very flattering as well.  Hopefully you enjoyed Shipton if you're subscribed to the MM!

Notoriously Morbid March 2017 Vanishing Cabinet (Apart of the Story) and Mini Haul Swatches

Welcome back, everyone!  I actually have two Notoriously Morbid swatch posts in one today!  The first will be the March Vanishing Cabinet, which was inspired by the wonderful and classic Neverending Story.  It was a movie I remember watching many, many years back on the VHS and still remember it fondly.  The VC included three mini eyeshadows and one deluxe sized Mystic Matte liquid lipstick.

The second part contains my mini haul which only includes March's Color of the Month, the surprise Gift with Purchase, the reemergence of customer favorite shadow Silent Samurai, as well as two pressed versions of customer favorite highlighters!  NM's current TAT is 14 business days, though the shop is currently on a week long break, I believe.  The VC ships on a completely different schedule which depends on your billing date.

Disclosure:  I am a promoter for Notoriously Morbid and purchased some products using a promoter discount.

Luck Dragon:  white with blue shimmers

Swamp of Sadness
Swamp of Sadness:  ocean green with green sparkles

Great Warrior
Great Warrior:  brown with gold sparkles and red and green shimmers

Moon Child

Moon Child:  nude with red sheen.  Moon Child is basically the perfect concealer/nude on me if I ever needed one.  I usually don't, but I appreciate that it's not lighter than my skin tone.  It actually applies lighter straight from the tube, but dries down a bit darker (which I appreciate).  While this isn't a color I've ever worn, I'm actually glad it worked out for me and is in my arsenal in case I ever need such a nude.  Nudes are notoriously hard to create since they look different on everyone and I'm thankful this is wearable for me.  I hope NM releases more nude browns in the future.

Luck Dragon, Swamp of Sadness, Great Warrior, Moon Child

Silent Samurai
Silent Samurai:  pigmented shimmery blue with purple glitter.  This was the fan favorite shade that was brought back from a previous VC.  I believe it's supposed to be slightly semi loose this time around.  I definitely notice a difference in the pigmentation and wow factor of the new formula.  It's gorgeous and I'm so glad I picked it up when it returned.

1UP Box ENEMY vs Super Geek Box CLASSIC vs Loot Crate BUILD vs Loot Anime TOGETHER February 2017

Alright, I know February's subscription post is ridiculously late, even more so than usual D:  I was having a very busy and stressful month, which is actually carrying over to March as well.  Here's hoping April is better!  On another note, I liked most of the things I got in my boxes though!

1Up Enemy

Batman and Joker shirt

Killer Croc figurine

Harley Quinn luggage tag

Mario enemies tie!  I actually really love this.

Team Rocket sticker that wasn't included in my box.

Notoriously Morbid February 2017 Mystic Monthly - Bridget Bishop Swatches and Review

I'm extremely excited to show off swatches of Notoriously Morbid's second Mystic Monthly!  Their Mystic Monthly is a new subscription service that caters to lip product lovers.  Each month includes one full sized Mystic Matte liquid lipstick as well as another full sized lip product.  Notoriously Morbid's current TAT is 14 business days, but the Mystic Monthly bills on the 20th of each month and ships two business days later.  For some reason, my post office ended up holding my package hostage for two days after it arrived in my state, so I received it today.

February's MM was inspired by Bridget Bishop, the first woman to be tried and burned at Salem for witchery.  It features an extremely beautiful Mystic Matte liquid lipstick as well as an all new Sinister Sprite Lip Shimmer!  The Sinister Sprite Lip Shimmers are tinted lip balms with shimmers and will be officially debuting in the Spring.

Bishop:  matte rosewood.  This is an amazing color and a great neutral for me.  I find it to be a great stepping stone for people who aren't comfortable with red lipstick.  It's extremely wearable, yet makes me look polished.  I can't get enough of this shade ♥

My Shadow
My Shadow on face
My Shadow:  semi sheer raspberry with gold sheen; raspberry scented.  The product picture looks a bit shoddy because I actually took a picture after applying.  I promise it didn't come looking like that haha.  They're also individually shrink wrapped.

Bishop, My Shadow

Overall, February's Mystic Monthly box was a huge, HUGE hit for me!  I thoroughly enjoyed both the lipstick and lip shimmer.  Apparently, the shimmer can also be applied over the Mystic Mattes for an extra glow :)  I just wish that USPS hadn't taken so long delivering it or I would've had this post up for you guys sooner.  You can tell how much I love these by the way I slathered them all over my lips before even taking the pictures!  I'm starting my 20 day countdown again to my next Mystic Monthly :P

Notoriously Morbid State of Fear Vol. 8 and February 2017 CotM Duo Swatches!

Today, I have a short swatch post of Notoriously Morbid's eight State of Fear release as well as the February Colors of the Month!  NM's current TAT is 14 business days and I received my order around that time.  The CotMs were actually pretty special for February as it was a duo.  It was an eyeshadow and Mystic Matte liquid lipstick inspired by the 80s song "Tainted Love"!

Disclosure:  I am a promoter for Notoriously Morbid and purchased these products using a promoter discount.

The Block Ness Monster
The Block Ness Monster: pale pink with gold sparkles and red and green shimmers

Albatwitch
Albatwitch:  peachy coral with silver sparkles and green and red shimmers

Lizard Man
Lizard Man:  warm tan base with strong green duochrome

The Devil's Lake Monster
The Devil's Lake Monster:  brown plum with blue sparkles and red and green shimmers

Ozark Howler
Ozark Howler:  slight rosy bronze with red and gold sparkles

Tainted Love
Tainted Love:  semi loose royal purple.  This was the CotM eyeshadow inspired by the original Tainted Love song.  It's absolutely stunning and I've received several compliments while wearing it.  The semi loose formula is also extremely well blended and picks up on eyeshadow brushes easily!  It should still be available on the website so I definitely recommend picking it up.

Bare lips
Tainted Love
Tainted Love on face
Tainted Love:  metallic mauve lipstick with gold sheen.  The color isn't something I would wear on a daily basis, but it's extremely unique and pretty.  The formula is watery, so I don't recommend tipping it over because it'd spill out.  I also recommend shaking vigorously before applying because the pigments tend to settle.  I believe this lipstick was inspired by the Marilyn Manson cover of Tainted Love.

The Block Ness Monster, Albatwitch, Lizard Man, The Devil's Lake Monster, Ozark Howler, Tainted Love, Tainted Love

Please please please pick up the Tainted Love eyeshadow if you still see it up on the website!  You definitely won't regret it and I see it selling like hotcakes!  All the other shadows are nice, but Tainted Love was the obvious standout.
