Notoriously Morbid Valentine's 2017 Queen of the Underworld Collection and Pulse of the Maggots Tribute Trio Swatches

I'm really excited to show swatches of Notoriously Morbid's limited edition Valentine's Day collection as well as their Slipknot inspired Tribute Trio!  Their current TAT is 14 business days and my order shipped around the tail end of the TAT because my order was combined with another.  I was extremely excited about the theme of the Vday collection because it's inspired by the kidnapping of Persephone by Hades in Greek Mythology.  I'm a huge Greek Mythology nerd so this combined two of my favorite things.  

The Tribute Trio was amazing as well!  Pulse of the Maggots is inspired by Slipknot and co created by one of my fellow promoters, Roo.  The trio of shadows feature a beautiful semi loose formula and come in taller jars.

Eye of Helios:  light pink with pink sparkles and gold and green shimmers

Spring Maiden:  light mauve with blue sparkles and green and red shimmers

Demeter's Despair

Demeter's Despair:  medium mauve with green duochrome and red and gold shimmers.  The green duochrome doesn't show up well in the swatch, but I promise it's there!

Lord of the Unseen

Lord of the Unseen:  purple with gold, red, and green shimmers

Promised to the Underworld

Promised to the Underworld:  extremely pigmented pomegranate blush; swatched heavily over bare skin.  I strongly recommend applying this blush with light hand as it's easy to go overboard and end up with clown cheeks.  I've also seen someone pat it over their lips and it was very beautiful!

Underground Bound:  beautiful blood orange with copper shimmers.  This Mystic Matte had a thicker mousse like texture which made application very easy and smooth.  It also featured a beautiful spiral lavender cap!  I love this lipstick and I highly recommend picking it up if you are looking for a warm red.

Fruit of the Dead

Fruit of the Dead:  berry and pomegranate scented Slumber Salve.  This lip balm smells deliciously fruity and absolutely divine!

disasterpiece:  semi loose absolutely amazing gray toned green with TONS of green, gold, silver, and red sparkles.  This is best used over sticky base for all the sparkles to stick onto.

I was absolutely floored by the quality of both Queen of the Underworld and Pulse of the Maggots sets!  I'm in love with every single color in the Tribute Trio because of their beauty, pigmentation, and overall quality.  These are blended a lot more than previously released semi loose shadows so there are no balls of shadow and they pick up a lot better onto eyeshadow brushes.  I'm really impressed at the direction NM is going with semi loose shadows and look forward to seeing more!
