Notoriously Morbid June 2015 Vanishing Cabinet - Beyond the Goblin City Swatches

Today I have swatches of Notoriously Morbid's Labyrinth inspired Vanishing Cabinet.  It comes with four shadows, a solid perfume sample, and a shadow by guest indie, Corvus Cosmetics.  I love both NM and Corvus, so I was very excited for this box.  I have to admit that I've never watched Labyrinth before, but hearing people rave about it made me download and start.  I'm only halfway through and it's a bit hard for me to finish, but I'm getting there.  The movie's a tiny bit awkward for me and I think I would have enjoyed it more if I were younger.

Happy birthday VC!

Innocent + Twisted Alchemy June 2015 Subscription Swatches

Today's the last day of June, which means I have only a few hours left to write up several June related posts (curse my procrastination!).  I have the swatches of Innocent + Twisted Alchemy's June subscription box.  This is a very special month for I+T because the theme is based on a character the owner, Linda, created and the label art is all hand drawn and extremely beautiful.  The box includes four mini eyeshadows, one highlighter, and two samples from other companies.

Notoriously Morbid Daoine Sidhe, Mystic Mattes, and Changelings Swatches and Review!

I have a huge huge HUGE post for you all today!  It's some new products from my favorite indie company, Notoriously Morbid.  They recently released a plethora of exciting lip products including some beautiful liquid matte lipsticks and topcoats.  I also picked up their newest eyeshadow collection, Daoine Sidhe, based on light and dark fairies and will be swatching those first.  Due to the extremely picture heavy nature of this post, I'll skip onto the swatches right now!

Head Key
Head Key:  beautiful light pink with gold sparkles.  This was my free sample and a sneak peek of their upcoming summer collection.  This is a very pretty and feminine color.

Daoine Sidhe

This collection is inspired by light and dark fairies and has some beautiful shimmers.  Missing from this collection is a highlighter that was actually renamed and reintroduced from the Game of Thrones inspired Vanishing Cabinet a few months back.  It was so popular that the owners had to make it permanent and include it in this collection.

Baroque Cosmetics First Impression Swatches and Review

Hey everyone!  I finally got to try out Baroque Cosmetics after hearing so much about them and picked up a lot of eyeshadow and blush samples!  Since it's an intensely picture heavy post, I'll just get right to the swatches :)

1UP Box HERO vs Loot Crate FANTASY April 2015

I'm super excited to be sharing April 2015's boxes because one of the themes are my absolute favorites - Fantasy!  I'm so happy Loot Crate is doing a fantasy theme because I've always loved that genre growing up so this box did not disappoint at all.  1UP Box's theme was Hero and we got a Funko Pop figure in it!

1UP Box

Captain America Funko Pop:  I love receiving Funko Pop figures since I don't have many.  I'm not a fan of Captain America but I don't mind adding him to my collection.

Mario Batman Shirt:  This month's shirt featured a Mario Batman crossover with the bat signal being replaced by a Toad signal.  Slightly awkward crossover, but I like both Mario and Batman so couldn't complain much.

Legend of Zelda Triforce Necklace:  This necklace came in three different colors and I happened to get the gold one.  I like the pouch it comes in too.

1UP Box VILLAIN vs Loot Crate COVERT March 2015

I've been so so behind on reviews and I'm really sorry :(  I've had these pictures in my folder for months now and are just now posting them, so hopefully I'll catch up by tonight.  Today's short post will be the unboxings of March's 1UP Box and Loot Crate!

1UP Box

Joker Tee:  I'm pretty sure this is supposed to be the Joker holding a can of Coke.  It's a pretty simple shirt and I appreciate that it's black instead of some garish color.

Harley Quinn Keychain:  A mini Funko Pop keychain!  I think this is super cute and will put this with my other Funko Pop figures.

Aromaleigh Galactic Mission One Swatches

Welcome back, everyone!  I'm happy to finally be posting up my swatches of Aromaleigh's Galactic Mission One swatches.  This collection was inspired by beautiful photos of nebulas which are available on full sized jars of the products.  Galactic Mission One is full of duochromes, with some more obvious than others and the formula is buttery and pigmented.  Without further ado, lets get one with the swatches!

Dark Matter Makeup Solar Sailors Swatches!

Oh my godddd, I have had this post sitting in my draft box for months.  I'm sorry everyone!  These are the swatches of the Solar Sailors collection from Dark Matter Makeup!  There are currently ten shadows in the collection, one for each soldier and an additional one for Chibiusa.  This collection features quite a bit of purple shadows because that's the owner's favorite color, and I also have a swatch of their Aurora Borealis highlighter.

Usagi
Usagi:  lavender with gold shimmer.  Usagi was one of my least favorite characters in the series and it sucked more because she was the main one :(  That's probably the reason why I never got into the first series too much (plus the age difference with Mamoru was weird considering she was in middle school and he was in college...)

Femme Fatale Cosmetics Mini-Haul Swatches

I've been a horrible blogger, I've been having writer's block for awhile and my work has kept me super busy so this post has been in my draft folder for months.  It's my small Femme Fatale haul and I'm glad that I'm finally getting to it!  Femme Fatale is an indie company based out of Australia and famous for their stunning duochromes.  This was my first order from them and I actually hopped on with several other users in the states to split our shipping.

Moonglow
Moonglow:  icy blue with gold duochrome.  This was my free sample and reminded me of Notoriously Morbid's Nothing is Trivial shadow, I hope I can compare them later in time.

Mad Lab Cosmetics - First Impression and Swatches

I have a very exciting review on new-to-me indie company Mad Lab Cosmetics today.  They're a science themed company with beautiful eyeshadows named after elements.  I've been eyeing this company for a long time and finally took the plunge after seeing them in Working with Monolids' blog here.  I ordered the blogger pack which comes with one full sized item and five samples for $6.  When I received my order, it seems that a free sample of Lead was thrown in there as well!

Labradorite
Labradorite:  black base with blue and green sparkles.  I chose this as my full size because of how beautiful swatches of it were.  I was not disappointed at all, the jar was filled to the brim and the eyeshadow was stunning and pigmented over regular primer as well.

Aromaleigh June 2015 Ephemera - Swatches and Review!

Your eyes do not deceive you, I'm actually posting something on the day I received it!  I have Aromaleigh's June Ephemera today and the theme is Melusine.  As usual, it was wrapped colorful ribbons that fit the theme and came with iridescent packaging worms and candy.  It came with three eyeshadows, one blush, one contour sample, and a lip gloss from Dreamworld Hermetica.

Beautiful artwork drawn by Linda from Innocent + Twisted Alchemy!
