Notoriously Morbid Comprehensive Swatch Post

Hey guys!  I actually have a HUGE, picture heavy post for you today (over 100+ pictures!).  I'm happy to share swatches of all my Notoriously Morbid shadows, pressed and loose.  Right now, I own every single color that's up for sale and some others that were limited edition or discontinued.  I'll also be noting which shadows press well and which do not, so you can avoid ruining them by pressing.  All shadows are pressed unless noted otherwise and are swatched over E.L.F's Essential Eyelid Primer.

Palette #1 - Neutrals to Pinks
Palette #2 - Reds to Browns
Palette #3 - Greens to Blues
Palette #4 (unfinished) - Purples

Small Notoriously Morbid Haul (blush, eyeshadow, and lip gloss!) - Swatches and Review

Hi everyone!  Since I now own about everything from Notoriously Morbid, this most recent haul is relatively small.  The loose blushes were being discontinued to make way for newer blush colors and were put up for sale for $5 each.  I was only missing two from the collection, so I added them to my cart along with another sample of Crimson Horror to turn into a lip gloss.  However, I realized that I had a sample of Annie's Agony blush already, so I emailed Carrie and asked if I could switch that blush out for four eyeshadow samples instead.  She responded almost immediately and said of course (I ended up picking Dita, Carly, He's Going Through Changes, and Shoes to Kill For).

Now I had a $15 gift voucher for the store, so I used that to pay instead of PayPal and was not notified when my package was shipped.  Carrie realized this, messaged me on Facebook, and sent my tracking number there.  I didn't even know that happened and would have just waited until being surprised with a package at my door!  It was totally my fault for not remembering that I get my tracking through PayPal, but I was so astounded by how attentive Carrie was.  I hadn't even asked her for any information and she felt like letting me know just in case.  It was really amazing; you can tell she really cares for each and every customer :)

I love the new sticker that seals the packages!

Ipsy May 2014 - Beauty's Fresh Picks

I received Ipsy's May 2014 bag a week or two ago and it only took me this long to review this because I wasn't excited about it.  Bad excuse, but come on, would you want to write about something you're not too passionate about?  The theme of this bag was "Beauty's Fresh Picks" and it was mostly skincare which I am never fond of.  I don't like receiving skincare items because I don't like putting new things on my face; it may lead to breakouts and just plain unpleasant reactions.

E.L.F. EX-tra Lip Gloss - Swatches and Review

Hi everyone!  I'm actually really excited to review this product from ELF Cosmetics.  It's one of their new lip glosses from their Essential line.  The Ex-tra Lip Gloss is $2/each and has six colors in the collection.  They are supposed to be inspired by ex-boyfriends, thus are all named after men.  I initially bought one color from my local Target to try out and fell in love with the pigmentation; I ended up ordering the rest of the collection.

As a person who isn't fond of lip glosses, I really like these!  They all have great pigmentation (which you will see in the swatches below) and are not sticky at all.

Wet n Wild Spring 2014 LE Street Art Nail Polish Collection

Wet n Wild has another limited edition collection out!  It's the Spring 2014 Street Art collection that consists of mainly nail polish.  I believe the collection is supposed to be inspired by graffiti, hence the colorful shades.  As with other Wild Shine nail polishes, these are all just $1/each.  There are two jelly polishes out of the six and the rest are creme formula.

Innocent + Twisted Alchemy - May 2014 Subscription

Hi everyone!  I have innocent + twisted alchemy's May subscription box for you today.  This month is special because it's i+t's anniversary and also the owner, Linda's, birthday month :)  To commemorate this special month, she included pressed blushes and samples of her absolutely favorite products.  I was pretty excited because most of her favorite products have been on my to-try list, so this is a great way to dip my toes in.  As usual, I have pictures and swatches of i+t's products first, which include three eyeshadows and two pressed blushes.

Notoriously Morbid Elegant & Wicked Collection - Review and Swatches

Notoriously Morbid has done it again!  They recently released a small eyeshadow collection based off of Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.  Now I personally don't know squat about this book/movie, but I do like the fact that they have collections based off of lesser known works.  It really shows that they get inspirations from things they love rather than things that are popular at the moment.

The whole collection was released during a Free Day Friday where you also get a free full-sized Easter shadow if you spend over a qualifying amount.  I can't resist anything limited edition and I can't have enough of NM anyway, so I added enough to my cart to qualify.  I got the whole Elegant & Wicket set (I purchased duplicates of some samples depending on if I thought they were risky to press) and I bought a mini-jar of one of the colors that I knew would not press well.  I also added a few more lip-safe colors that I already owned to mix into a lip gloss and requested lip-safe shadows as my free samples as well.

OH - I also forgot to mention that the whole collection consists of duochrome shadows!  The last full duochrome collection NM came out with was the Christmas Carol one and that really blew me away.  I was extremely excited for this one, especially after seeing the sneak peeks on their FB customer's page.  There was one that many people seem to really be drooling over because of it's similarity to Fyrinnae's Mephisto shadow.  Now I personally really love Mephisto, so yes, I was very excited to see how they compare - I will have swatches and side-by-side comparisons below :)

Full-size jar of the Easter shade.
A new thing that I noticed in this order was the label on the full-size jar.  There seems to be a pretty border around the woman's head and the label itself seems to be waterproof.  I like this label more than the old one because it has a glossy texture and just looks a lot nicer.
Bunny Hop is the exclusive Easter shade :)
My lip-safe goodies; I can't wait to turn Tempest into a gloss!

Wet n Wild Spring 2014 The Style Award Goes to... Collection - Review and Swatches

Today I have a pretty long overdue review for you!  It's the limited edition Spring 2014 collection from Wet n Wild called, "The Style Award Goes to..."  I actually got this whole collection awhile back, but was waiting almost a month for my nail wheels to arrive here for nail polish swatches.  This collection has two 8-pan palettes and six MegaLast nail polishes.  Both the 8-pan palettes and Megalast polish formulas are usually loved by everyone, so it's exciting.  The overall theme of this collection seems very pastel and wedding like.  One of their palettes seems to be inspired by the Pantone color of the year, Radiant Orchid.

Ipsy April 2014 - Beauty Rocks

I'm back again with the monthly Ipsy bag review!  For the theme for the month of April was Beauty Rocks.  I received 5 items in my bag and the only things that actually scream "rock" to me are the eyeliner and bag.

Notoriously Morbid Shadow, Blush, and Liners Haul - Swatches and Review

I'm so sorry, this review is horribly long overdue.  I had a lot of things going on in my life and work has been a little hectic.  This review will be a little long and overwhelming because it's actually several orders put together.  I'll be splitting this review in two parts - part one will be the shadows and part two will be blushes and liners.

If you guys haven't heard yet, my favorite indie company, Notoriously Morbid, came out with a trio of gel liners.  Gel liners are very rare in the indie cosmetics world and many people jumped at the chance to try it out.  Now I'm a liquid liner girl (and have been for years), but I love this company so much that I just want to keep buying stuff even though I now have all the shadows (which is why you're starting to see blushes and liners)...
