Corvus Cosmetics The Bronzes and Cryptozoology Collections Swatches

I'm excited to finally be posting up this review!  I purchased and swatched Corvus Cosmetics' Cryptozoology collection awhile back but haven't been able to post it due to my increasingly hectic work life (sorry, everyone!).  Anyway, Corvus released a fourteen shadow collection based on cryptids found around the world, the shadows are all neutrals and neutrals with a twist.  Since their creation, I've really loved Corvus' formula and their improvement.  I can safely say they do neutrals with a twist extremely well; they're work safe, but by no means boring.

Corvus has also been releasing some five shadow mini collections, each based on a certain color.  The first mini collection were based on rosy shades, the second is based on bronzes and I picked up the collection along with the Cryptozoology shades.

Pictures taken under daylight bulb and swatched over ELF Glitter Primer (top/left half) and ELF Essential Primer (bottom/right half)

Loch Ness Monster
Loch Ness Monster:  absolutely GORGEOUS charcoal with blue duochrome.  This was formulated to be similar to previous CotM Kaelpie and I love it.  Kaelpie was one of my favorite Corvus shades to date and has been discontinued.  Nessie definitely does it justice as its blue counterpart.

Once again, Corvus blows me away with its stellar formula.  I'm always really impressed by how pigmented the darker shadows are over a regular primer and you can definitely see them in action in the last set of swatches.  Crytozoology is a wonderful set to add to any collection and can create so many different eye looks ranging from work safe to colorful.  I can tell I'll have so much fun playing with them.
