Notoriously Morbid Calling Corners, Sealed Judgment, and Superstitio Collection - Swatches and Review

Look at all those goodies!  I'm so excited to bring to you this review which features not one, not two, but three separate collections!  Because of this, the review will be super picture heavy.  I had actually made two separate orders, but Carrie decided to ship them together for me, which was an amazing surprise :)

Early on in the month, Notoriously Morbid introduced a new feature called, "The Vanishing Cabinet".  It is their take on a monthly subscription.  Each month, there's a new limited edition collection released and you can choose whether or not to buy it - they sell out quickly!  This is a great option for people who don't like the actual commitment of subscriptions and want to be able to skip collections that they don't like.

For their first Vanishing Cabinet, the collection "Calling Corners" is based off of the movie "The Craft".  I had seen this movie a few years ago and I wasn't a die-hard fan.  However, there's no denying the influence it had on later supernatural series such as "Charmed" (which I am a fan of).  I placed an order as soon as it was released; it was also eligible for Free Day Friday, which included free samples of the whole Sealed Judgement Set that was released during Black Friday last year.  I had regretfully missed out on the set when it released so it was wonderful that Carrie decided to bring it back for a bit :)

Lastly, a permanent collection was released on Friday the 13th.  It's called "Superstitio" and the eyeshadows were influenced by various superstitions!  I really loved everything and can't wait to show you the swatches!

My order came in this cute and durable paper bag this time.  I love the new packaging!

This tiny bag (with cute glittery skull sticker) stored my free samples :D  I love it!

Ipsy June 2014 - Pretty in Paradise

So it's almost officially summer and it's warming up a lot in NYC!  I'm so excited because we've had such a long winter and a very long period of rain.  Anywho, I got my June Ipsy bag last week and I really like it!  If you remember last month, I didn't like my bag at all.  Those sentiments were apparently shared with a good amount of Ipsy subscribers (seriously, water in a can?).  They definitely made up for that blah bag this month.  I found myself liking most of the products :)

The theme is Pretty in Paradise and we got this gorgeous Rebecca Minkoff designed bag!

Beach Spray
Marc Anthony Dream Waves Beach Spray:  This is the second beach spray I've gotten from Ipsy.  The first one was from last summer's bag and I believe it was from the company Sexy Hair.  It did not work out for me, but I'm excited to try this one!

Innocent + Twisted Alchemy - June 2014 Subscription

It's that wonderful time of the month again; time for another round of Innocent + Twisted Alchemy's subscription box!  Now this box is a little fuller than the others because Linda resent last month's blushes in this box.  Apparently, a horrible chemical reaction happened with the pans and the glue in last month's box which rusted the pans.  This month, she included loose versions of those blushes and gave an additional mini-jar of a new blush.

How cute is this bag?
Pictures are taken under daylight bulb and swatches are done over ELF $1 Primer

Twinkle Squinkles
Twinkle Squinkles:  pink with purple and gold sparkles.  What a cute name!  It makes me think of a pig for some reason ^^

Aromaleigh Cosmetics Bete Noire Collection - Swatches and Review

I'm very excited to be doing this review on Aromaleigh Cosmetic's Bete Noire collection!  This is my first time ordering from this company.  I had been looking at the discontinued Bete Noire collection for awhile because one of the shades shares a name with me!  Aromaleigh has weekly sales and believe me, they're amazing deals.  They had a 50% off sale of this collection and I immediately made an order.  I decided to buy the entire collection because it was crazy cheap.  Their samples are normally $1 for 1/8 tsp, but with the sale, they were 50 cents each.  I picked up two of each shade so I had enough for pressing.  The collection consists of 16 unique jewel-toned shades named after various women/femme fatales.

My order shipped two days after I paid and I received it two or three days later.  Aromaleigh is famous for their extremely quick shipping time so I was happy to get to play with these so quickly.  I also received three free samples with my order and one of them was something I had really wanted to try out (so thank you to whoever packs the orders!).

All the goodies!  Duplicates are stacked on top of each other.

Hello Waffle Cosmetics Haul - Swatches and Review

I have a pretty big review on Hello Waffle Cosmetics for you today :)  This isn't my first time ordering from this company; I'd ordered when they first opened and they only had tinted lip balms in their store.  The store owner, Christine, is a wonderful person and I had a great time ordering.  Since then, HW has released blushes and eyeshadows, both of which have been extremely well received in the indie community.  When she announced the release of a collection inspired by musicians, I knew it was time to try the eyeshadows.  There was also a free shipping deal going on and it really helps since the company is based in Canada so shipping can get a bit pricey.

I ended up ordering the Blogger Pack which was $25 (now $30 - price raised to include blushes) and includes one full-size lip balm, two sample size lip balms, two full-size eyeshadows, and ten sample sized eyeshadows.  When I made my order, she was also having a free gift with purchase (GWP) if you spent over a certain amount.  I actually forgot to let her know which GWP I wanted so I emailed her and told her my choice.  I also asked if it was possible to include samples of Rose Champagne or Whale Hello There (CotMs) as my free samples.  She emailed back, said no problem and that she'd include both!

She taped the bubble mailer with this adorable penguin tape!

How sweet is this note?!  I was so happy that she actually remembered me :)  I opened my package to realize that she's touched me with her extreme generosity yet again.  Instead of giving me samples of Rose Champagne or Whale Hello There, she actually gave me FULL-SIZE jars of both!  And she included extra free samples on top of that!  I was absolutely floored and so appreciative of that as they are both beautiful colors.

Shiro Cosmetics 4th Anniversary Sale - Swatches and Review

Hi everyone!  It's been a long time since I've made a Shiro order and I decided to wait until their 4th anniversary sale to do so.  For that sale, you get 15% off your order and if you spend over a certain amount, you get a free full-sized shadow of their birthday color "The Fourth Be With You".  I just really wanted to pick up the discontinued Intertubes and a tube of lip gloss since everyone raves about Shiro's lip gloss formula.

I asked for a drawing of Catbus licking Totoro.  I love his face here haha and Catbus makes me laugh everytime.
