Innocent + Twisted Alchemy January 2016 Subscription Swatches

Today I have swatches of Innocent + Twisted Alchemy's January 2016 subscription.  It's inspired by Alice in Wonderland/Through the Looking Glass.  This post was initially scheduled for much later, as I normally have work today, but by some miracle, our boss decided to cancel due to Storm Jonas!  NYC happened to get around three feet of snow, so I'm really really glad we don't have to go out.  This month's subscription included three eyeshadows by I+TA along with some extremely beautiful label art.  We also got a bunch of samples from other companies!

Pictures taken under LED bulb and swatched over ELF Glitter Primer (top/left half) and ELF Essential Primer (bottom/right half)

Flounce Cat
Flounce Cat:  pink with strong gold sheen.  This is an eyeshadow sample from Scaredy Cat Cosmetics.  They're a brand that's largely underrated and they produce really beautiful shadows with great quality.

Brisket
Brisket:  red with strong gold duochrome.  This is an eyeshadow sample from My Pretty Zombie.  I had the pleasure of trying them out last year and love their duochromes!

Hatter's Toxic Tea
Hatter's Toxic Tea:  grass green with blue and gold sparkles.  This is an eyeshadow sample from Wonderland Beauty Cosmetics.

Mad Hatter
Mad Hatter:  spruce blue with red and gold shimmers.  This is an eyeshadow sample from Dusk Cosmetics, I love their label art and they're still on my to-buy list!

Duchess
Duchess:  white highlight with pink sheen; applied over bare skin.  Highlighter sample from Rascal Cosmetics.

Overall, this was a very colorful box and fit very well with the Alice in Wonderland theme.  I'm actually really excited for next month's box because it's supposed to be inspired by The Phantom of the Opera.  I watched the play last year and absolutely LOVED it!  I can't wait to see what beautiful colors Linda comes up with as well as the label art.
