Geek Chic Cosmetics I'm Not Cute and Cara Mia Swatches!

Geek Chic Cosmetics recently released an all new collection inspired by webcomic Bee and Puppycat.  It only has a few episodes so I was able to watch it all in one day.  It's very odd but also strangely enticing.  The collection features six eyeshadows and a perfume and comes in an adorable tin.  I also picked up their beautiful red liquid matte lipstick because I enjoyed the other matte lipstick I purchased from them.  Geek Chic's TAT is currently 10 business days from ordering.

I'm Cool as Hell

I'm Cool as Hell:  "A soft, sweet, and airy floral/citrus perfume perfect for spring with notes of fresh squeezed lime, strawberry, mango, and bubble gum all mixed with a heart of fresh cut sweet peas."  This is a pretty sweet scent to me, not sickeningly sweet though, it's very pleasant.  It doesn't last more than an hour or two, but the spray bottle makes it convenient to bring in your bag for reapplication.

Cara Mia:  semi metallic blood red liquid lipstick with red and silver sparkles.  It has a mousse-like texture, cake frosting scent, and dries instantly.

Notoriously Morbid June 2016 Vanishing Cabinet - Killer Candy Swatches

Happy Independence Day, everyone!  I have swatches of Notoriously Morbid's June Vanishing Cabinet.  It was inspired by Jawbreaker which I haven't had a chance to watch yet.  Their VCs are $13.25/month and usually include three to four mini eyeshadows as well as another product.  Their TAT is currently 5-10 business days, though the VC generally ships out on its own.  This month was a bit special as the additional product was a lip scrub!  NM has never released a lip scrub prior to this and I believe their debut formula is great!  It'll go well with their Mystic Matte liquid lipsticks, so I hope the company releases more.

Peachy F****** Keen

Peachy F****** Keen:  tropical scented and flavored lip scrub.  It smells like Malibu pineapple, sloughs off all dead skin, and is especially effective over lip balm.  I've been using ELF's Lip Scrub which comes in a lipstick form and had to get used to applying this lip scrub with my fingers.  It's fairly easy but can get a little messy sometimes.  I hope NM starts selling these in larger sizes because they will be helpful to use on lips before applying the Mystic Matte lipsticks!

Hello Waffle June 2016 Visage - Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Swatches and Review

Happy July 4th, everyone!  I have swatches of Hello Waffle Cosmetics' June Visage subscription box!  It's inspired by one of my all time favorite books - Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.  I'm actually a fan of almost all of Roald Dahl's works, so I'm definitely watching The BFG when it comes out.  Hello Waffle is currently on hiatus until October, but their usual TAT is 10-15 business days.  The Visage is $30/month and generally comes with three or four mini eyshadows, and full sized cheek and lip products.  The Visage is unaffected by the hiatus and will still be sent out during their break.

Innocent + Twisted Alchemy June 2016 Subscription Swatches

Welcome back, everyone!  Sorry I've been a bit late with these posts; I've been moving and had to push back posting in favor of packing and all that fun stuff.  I have swatches of Innocent + Twisted Alchemy's June subscription box.  The box just went through a price increase and is now $18/month.  The shop's usual TAT is 14-18 business days though the box doesn't operate on standard TAT.  This month's theme is one of the Final Fantasy series and the overall color theme is purple.

Nora:  teal with gold and green shimmers

Lightning

Lightning:  gorgeous pink base with blue duochrome.  The duochrome is extremely strong with this shade and I highly recommend picking up any leftovers the shop puts up.

Noel

Noel:  lavender with gold and green sparkles and pink shimmers

Sera

Sera:  dark purple with blue, pink, and gold sparkles

Mog

Mog:  light pink with gold duochrome and red shimmers.  This was a full sized eyeshadow from Dusk Cosmetics.  I've been meaning to order from this brand for forever.  The label art is beautiful and they have themes I enjoy.
