Oslo Cosmetics - Collective Swatch

Hi everyone!  I'm doing something a little bit different today.  I don't have any new reviews or swatches for you, but since I own almost every single eyeshadow that Oslo Cosmetics offers, I decided to put all the swatches into one post.  This way, if you're interested, you can compare all the colors at once instead of looking back and forth and wondering if any two shades are similar.  Now I said I own almost all, but not all - I do not own the black eyeshadow, the light blue shadow (Aquarii), and a few shades from the limited edition Halloween collection.  I also forgot to include a swatch of Fabula from the aforementioned Halloween collection, sorry!  But here are all the eyeshadows I have from Oslo:

Holiday EOTD with Sparkly Golds

Here's another super belated EOTD I did during the holidays.  As you can see, I'm wearing reindeer antlers that my boss gave me at work.  I decided to wear red and gold that day and wanted to attempt a sparkly gold eye.  Of course, I had to break out the sparkliest indie eyeshadows I had at the time.

I used Oslo's 'Equinox' on the lid and Shiro's famous 'Nic Cage Raking Leaves on a Brisk October Afternoon' in the outer v and crease.  Equinox and Nic Cage both have an almost obnoxious amount of glitter that I can't sport on regular days.  Because of Oslo's semi-loose formula, the glitter stuck on my lid throughout the whole day and was great.  Nic Cage, however, might have benefited more from a stickier base.  Without a sticky base, the sparkles almost blend away, but I was still left with a nice dark brown in the crease.

Here's to more belated EOTDs coming up!

Oslo Cosmetics - Black Friday Haul

I've procrastinated on this review for such a long time that I almost feel compelled to apologize to the owner :x  It's been awhile since I've ordered from Oslo Cosmetics because I own so many of their shadows already and I wanted to wait for the limited edition Black Friday shade.

The limited edition shade released is called Soleil, and I got my butt right onto the shop once I saw that it was up for sale!  Normally I buy Blogger Packs, which is $10 for 4 full-sized shadows, however, she's (temporarily?) taken it down so I opted for mini jars.  They're more expensive per gram than getting the Blogger Pack, but it was okay since I had a 40% discount code (for being a model/promoter).  I wanted to just buy everything else they offered that I didn't have already.

Disclaimer - Everything is purchased with my own money and the review consists of my honest opinions.

FOTD with Oslo Cosmetics

Merry Christmas Eve everyone!  I hope you're all warm and comfy with your families :)  I've decided to post up some FOTDs/EOTDs separate from actual reviews.  I've been stuck in a makeup rut for awhile and wanted to delve into some colors again.

Face:
NYC Sunny Bronzer
Oslo Cosmetics 'Sextens' blush

Eyes:
ELF 144 Neutral Eyeshadow Palette - Matte gray shadow on eyebrows
Oslo 'Carinae' on inner corner
Oslo 'Tremor' on lid
Oslo 'Asterism' on crease
ELF 3-in-1 Mascara

Lips:
Oslo 'Odetta' lip slick

I love Oslo eyeshadows and I'm really happy to have other products to try out too.  The lip slicks are staining which is great if you don't want to keep reapplying throughout the day.  The eyeshadows stay on for 12+ hours because of the binder that's added.  If you haven't tried Oslo Cosmetics yet, then I strongly recommend their eyeshadows.  Thanks for reading and enjoy the holidays :)

Another Oslo Haul! New Game of Thrones Eyeshadows

I know, I know; I have a serious Oslo obsession.  But guys, she just released a new Game of Thrones collection!  You know I had to get one it.  Plus, I needed to snag a few more samples of Ara and Lyra to press fully into pans.  I also needed to try her blushes after seeing some more reviews haha.

I ended up buying two Blogger Packs (4 full-sized shadows) and one Sample pack (5 samples).  I had actually made two separate orders but since it hadn't shipped yet, she combined them into one package for me :D

The colors I got were:  Doradus, Asterism, Tremor, A Song of Ice and Fire, Essos, Winter is Coming, Pegasus, and Milky Way.

Daylight - Top Row:  Doradus, Asterism, Tremor, A Song of Ice and Fire
Bottom Row:  Essos, Winter is Coming, Pegasus, Milky Way
Flash - Top Row:  Doradus, Asterism, Tremor, A Song of Ice and Fire
Bottom Row:  Essos, Winter is Coming, Pegasus, Milky Way

Oslo Cosmetics - Eyeshadow and Lip Slicks Review and Swatches

My second Oslo Cosmetics order has finally come!  I'm in love with this company and raved about their products in my first post here.  I made my second order within days of receiving my first after seeing more swatches.  I ordered two blogger packs this time because I really wanted to try their new Lip Slicks.

After contacting Joyce about tweaking my order to include Lip Slicks instead of eyeshadows, she was really generous and sent me more than I had asked for!  I'm already prepared to make my third order since I've convinced myself that I need every single shadow that Joyce puts out.  I'm excited and waiting for her to release her Game of Thrones collection this weekend!

My order, with lids off
I received five full-sized shadows, two shadow sampes, one glitter sample, and four Lip Slicks in mini jars.  Be prepared as this post will be REALLY picture heavy.

Oslo Cosmetics - Swatches and Review

I have been dabbling more and more into indie makeup companies; I find their quality excellent and love how you can also order sample products rather than only buying full-sized products you may or may not like.

I recently discovered a new company called Oslo Cosmetics.  They sell everything from eyeshadows, cream bases, lip products, and glitter.  The owner, Joyce, is a really nice girl and has excellent customer service; I've emailed her a few times and commented on their facebook page and have gotten really quick responses.

This is the first order I made and it was shipped the next day and I received it before the weekend.  How amazing is that?  I ordered the Blogger Pack for $10, which includes 4 full-sized shadows which retail for around $5-6 each.  I chose Carinae, Taurus, Monstrum, and Grus; Joyce also gave me Vela as a free sample.
