Aromaleigh Cosmetics Fatalis Collection Swatches

Around Halloween, Aromaleigh Cosmetics teased the indie world with their upcoming intense duochrome collection using expensive pigments.  The collection, Fatalis, was based off colorful poisonous plants and animals.  The collection was priced a bit higher because of how much more the pigments cost to purchase.  I bought all the eyeshadows in sample baggies and several of the face powders and a full sized tinted lip balm.

Aromaleigh Cosmetics Minotaur Menagerie Swatches

Today I'm showing off swatches of Aromaleigh's most recent Menagerie based off of the Minotaur from Greek mythology.  I absolutely love their Menageries and I think this one might be my favorite yet!  It boasts a few beautiful duochromes, face products, and a gorgeous lip gloss.  I also bought the Goddess highlighter of that month based on Astraea.

Aromaleigh Cybele Blush Swatches

I have a short swatch post for you today showcasing Aromaleigh's Cybele blush and the free samples that came with it.  I really enjoy Aromaleigh's Goddess blushes because they all feature beautiful label art.  I'm collecting them right now and am figuring out a good way to display them all later on!

Aromaleigh More Human than Human Collection and Ishtar Blush Swatches

Woop woop, I have a TON of blog catching up to do!  A big-ish order I made from Aromaleigh awhile back is first up on the list :D  They came out with a Bladerunner inspired collection recently and it was on sale so I picked those colors up.  I never watched the movie, but I'm a big fan of sci fi so it's definitely on my to-watch list.  Around that time, the new Goddess Blush Ishtar also came out and Aromaleigh released a GWP as well.  This will be pretty picture heavy so I'll get on with swatches!

Aromaleigh August 2015 Ephemera Swatches

I have swatches of Aromaleigh's last Ephemera box for you guys today!  It's inspired by Marie Antoinette and more specifically, based on the film Sofia Coppola released of her.  This is pretty bittersweet for me because I have been subscribed since the second box and ended up enjoying the subscription immensely.  The attention to detail, beautiful packaging, informative notes, and great quality products won me over.  Unfortunately, it wasn't turning a profit for the company so they've chosen to discontinue it.

Anyway, the label art reminds me a lot of an older manga, The Rose of Versailles.  It's a series my mom used to enjoy and I thought the art was beautiful.  I initially thought the label art was a shout out to the series, but it was just a happy coincidence.

Cute info note

Aromaleigh Medusa Menagerie Swatches

Hey everyone!  I have a small swatch post for you today of Aromaleigh's current Menagerie, based of Medusa.  Since cancelling the Ephemera, they've also announced the Menagerie will no longer be monthly but will be around every 45 days (please correct me if I'm wrong).  Even though this means less collections overall, it also means more time for me to save up money between collections.  There were several sneak peeks of the Medusa Menagerie and it seemed to be a purple and red leaning collection with a gloss and perfume.

Aromaleigh July 2015 Ephemera Swatches

Welcome back, everyone!  Today I have swatches of Aromaleigh's July Ephemera inspired by the great Nikola Tesla.  This is the second to last Ephemera box and that makes me very sad because it's one of my absolute favorite subscription boxes.  The level of attention and detail gone into the packaging is very obvious.  This box is a bit different than previous ones in that it doesn't include any face products.  Instead, it includes four eyeshadows, a lip balm, and a perfume sample.

Aromaleigh Rusalka Menagerie and Goddess Blushes Swatches

I'm really excited to post this review on Aromaleigh Cosmetics' Rusalka Menagerie and Goddess blushes!  Aromaleigh does a mini collection (Menagerie) every month based off a mythical creature/legend and the most recent one was of Rusalka!  They also release monthly face products inspired by various goddesses and feature some really beautiful label art!  I've been trying to stay away from indie blushes because I have many mainstream ones, but the label art always gets me and indie blushes often have gorgeous duochromes that I can't find in drugstores.

Anyway, enough of my rambling, this post has been stuck in draft limbo for awhile waiting for my computer issues to be resolved.  Now that they are, I'm happy to finally be able to show the swatches!

Aromaleigh January 2015 Ephemera Swatches!

As you all know by now, I'm a huge huge fan of Aromaleigh Cosmetics' Ephemera boxes.  They're monthly subscription boxes full of eyes, face, and lip products along with some guest indies.  It started during January of this year and I actually missed out on the first box.  I initially thought I'd be okay with not getting the overstocks because they were Narnia themed and I was very meh about the movie.  However, as I subscribed and months went on where I really grew to love the box, I realized I wanted to complete the collection.

Thankfully for destashes on IMAM, someone sold me their products at an awesome price.  I had actually bought half of the box on Aromaleigh's website and was desperately looking to complete the set.  Unfortunately, I didn't get the box or insert that came with it, but the makeup is more important!

Sadly, Aromaleigh is also discontinuing the Ephemera subscription after August, so I'm really glad I'll have every single box in existence.  I sure hope they'll bring it back someday because I thoroughly enjoyed the surprise every month.

Aromaleigh Galactic Mission One Swatches

Welcome back, everyone!  I'm happy to finally be posting up my swatches of Aromaleigh's Galactic Mission One swatches.  This collection was inspired by beautiful photos of nebulas which are available on full sized jars of the products.  Galactic Mission One is full of duochromes, with some more obvious than others and the formula is buttery and pigmented.  Without further ado, lets get one with the swatches!

Your eyes do not deceive you, I'm actually posting something on the day I received it!  I have Aromaleigh's June Ephemera today and the theme is Melusine.  As usual, it was wrapped colorful ribbons that fit the theme and came with iridescent packaging worms and candy.  It came with three eyeshadows, one blush, one contour sample, and a lip gloss from Dreamworld Hermetica.
